3D Render

These shots are from the movie "Vakuum". A movie made by students of the filmacademy Baden-Württemberg as their degree in directing and producing. They approached us (Capture MM) and several other post-production companies throughout germany to help them in their post - production for this movie.

I was asked to build bubbles in 3D that should cover all trees. But as the bubbles didn't look very good I came up with this cage-look.

Tracking and matching the cages into the shots that had a moving camera proved very complex, as always. Lukily I had some help with those and compositing was done by our compositing department.

These shots do not represent the final look of the movie because there was additional compositing work done after I finished the 3D and this is the last stage that I was involved with these shots.
